эк., стат. индекс ведущих (макроэкономических) индикаторов, индекс опережающих индикаторов, индекс общего состояния экономики (статистический показатель, состоящий из 12 ежемесячных средневзвешенных индикаторов состояния экономики, среди которых важнейшие: производственные заказы, заявки на пособие по безработице, показатели денежной массы М, средняя рабочая неделя, разрешения на строительство, цены на основные акции, заказы на товары длительного пользования, индекс потребительского доверия; индекс ведущих индикаторов характеризует развитие экономики в течение последующих шести месяцев; согласно эмпирическому правилу выход значения индекса в отрицательную область в течение трех месяцев подряд является индикатором замедления развития экономики страны; изменения индекса оказывают прямо пропорциональное воздействие на котировки акций и валюты на бирже)
